Assignments (Continuous Internal Evaluation- CIA)
- Each Course / Subject includes two assignments as part of the Internal Continuous Evaluation (CIA).
- Each assignment will consist of objective-type questions (multiple-choice questions).
- Students must submit their assignments within the semester or academic year before appearing for their online exams.
- The weightage of the Internal Continuous Evaluation (CIA) is 30%.
Assignment 1 – 15 Questions x 1 Mark = 15 Marks
Assignment 2 – 15 Questions x 1 Mark = 15 Marks
Total Assignment Marks Per Course / Subject – 30 Marks
Term End Online Examinations
- The passing criteria for each assignment is 40%.
- Online examinations are tentatively scheduled for the months of January and July.
- Students must complete the online exam form for the slot booking process through the university's website, where they will select the exam date, time slot, and subject.
- The Controller of Examinations will release the exam notification specifying the dates for each subject.
- Students will have around 10-day window to choose their exam schedule, with three available time slots each day to complete their exams
10 am to 12 pm
12.30 pm to 2.30 pm
3 pm to 5 pm
Each Online Exam Duration per Subject would be of 2 hours
Online Exams would have a combination of objective and subjective questions:
Section A: 49 MCQ type / Objective-type questions x 1 mark each = 49 Marks
Section B: Essay Type 3 Questions x 7 marks each = 21 marks
Total Marks for Online Exams - 70 marks.
The weightage for the term-end online exams is 70%
- For each Subject; the Students must score at least 40% in each assignment of a subject and also should score a minimum 40% in the online exam to pass the respective subject.
- Students must complete their assignments by the deadline set by the university to be eligible to appear for the exams.
- Backlog exams for previous semesters/years, if any, can be taken in the next exam cycle along with the current semester's subjects.
- For a second attempt or re-appear exam, Indian students must pay INR 500, and international or NRI students must pay $10.
- Examination fees are non-transferable and non-refundable, with no exceptions.
- Students with outstanding payments will not be permitted to take the exams.
- Online Results will be declared within 30 months from the last examination date of the respective exam cycle; students should download the Result PDF files for future reference purposes.
- Upon successful completion of the program; the Hardcopy Marksheets along with Degree Certification would be couriered to students at the end of the Program.
